Mordenite Sgurr nam Boc, Isle of Skye, Scotland, UK 10 cm x 5 cm x 6 cm deep Mordenite in delicate crystals to 10mm long with a few stilbite crystals, in a quartz-lined cavity in basalt. This zeolite mineral is very silica-rich and to my knowledge is only found at this locality (on Skye, that is), where quartz is plentiful. Self-collected 1998. (Author: Mike Wood)
